The CICADA (Care and Intervention for Children and Adolescents affected by Drugs and Alcohol) Adolescent Service provides clinical services, primarily the assessment and management of young people presenting to hospital with substance use. It provides leadership in developing effective responses to alcohol and illicit drug use by young people and provides prevention, harm minimisation and management of the health consequences associated with drug use.
