Transition to Work (TtW) is a new Australian Government initiative designed to assist young participants at increased risk of long term unemployment. It connects them with local employment and education opportunities and provides intensive pre-employment preparation. TtW services have a strong focus on participation and helping young people to understand what is expected in the workplace. Activities will help them to develop the employability skills, attitudes and behaviours that employers expect.
This program is for young people 15-21 years old not currently participating in employment services, who haven't completed year 12/a Certificate III or higher, and have not worked or studied in the past six months.
