Aboriginal Legal Service (NSW/ACT) is an Aboriginal community organisation giving information and referral, legal advice and court representation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, women and children in NSW and ACT. We work in Criminal law, children's Care and Protection law, and Family law. We also provide information and referral for civil law and work and development orders. We have a 24 hour legal advice and RU OK phone line for Aboriginal people taken into police custody, and a Prisoner ThroughCare service assisting people leaving prison to reintegrate into their communities.
