Clarke Road School provides educational programs for students (4-18 years) with a moderate or severe intellectual disability. Some of our students have additional disabilities such as Autism, sensory impairments and physical disabilities.
Clarke Road School has caring, professional and committed staff that focus on developing high quality individual teaching and learning programs for students. Staff work closely with parents and families to develop an Individual Education Plans (K- 6) or Individual Transition Plans (7-12). These programs aim to give students the opportunity to become as independent as possible with a focus on student achievement and high expectations for all students. We are committed to quality education and equity for all.
Referral: Required. Parents visit the school, then apply to the DEC placement panel.
Catering to: Ages 4 to 18. Young persons must be enrolled in an educational facility to use these services.
Cost: Both free and paid services.
Parent or guardian: Parent must attend intial meeting.
