Petersham Juvenile Justice Community Services, NSW Department of Attorney General and Justice provides community-based services to assist young people to address their offending behavior, through the provision of assessment and offence focused intervention. Petersham office offers a variety of legally mandated services including;
Case work support and assistance for young people who are on community based legal orders or who are residing in custody;
Assessment reports to assist courts in determining sentences for a young person's offending;
Court-directed supervision of young people who are placed on community based legal orders;
The provision of individual and group based counselling and program interventions;
Community Service Order Programs;
Youth Justice Conferencing.
Appointment: Not required.
Referral: Required. Court based referral or via Police (Youth Justice Conferencing only)
Catering to: Ages 12 to 18.
Cost: Free service.
Parent or guardian: Not required.
